The power of AT&T U-Verse

Apparently my AT&T U-Verse subscription gives me the power to start the Olympics just by pressing OK. I didn't know that until tonight. I mean, it's not in the owner's manual or anything. I wanted to start them tonight, but I don't have a torch handy. Besides, my wife told me to wait until tomorrow when she's not so tired. Maybe I'll just hold off until Monday... Because. I. Have. The. Power!

Start of the storm

We are supposed to get some heavy duty snow today but at 8:30a.m. it's
still just a little bit. Stay tuned.

Late Update: After all the hype and preparation (school and business closings, etc.), it never really got much worse than this. Even 24 hours later there are large patches of ground with little or no snow.

Books, books, and more books

One of the perks of my job is that I receive many, many books,
ostensibly for review. We give some of them away, but unfortunately a
lot of them wind up on these shelves. You may be able to see that the
shelves are straining from the weight.

I wanted to know when Google would enable extensions on its Chrome
browser for Mac. Before I even asked my question, Google was right
there, like an overeager puppy dog throwing out suggestions about what
I might really want to know. I previously hadn't thought about these
questions at all, but now I'm curious to know when I will feel my baby
move. I didn't even know I was pregnant.
